    Hello All,

I have a question about the scoring method on the 2013 Wiley Test Bank. I took a practice test with 20 MCQs and 3 Sims. My score was as follows:

MCQs: 15 out of 20 correct

Sims: 3 out of 3 correct

    Your Score: 90%

Aren’t MCQs worth 60% and Sims worth 40% of the total exam score? If so, shouldn’t my score have been 85% (15/20 x 60% + 3/3 x 40%)? I just want to make sure Wiley is giving me the correct score since I use those numbers as an indicator of how well I am prepared for the exam.

That's a great question. It doesn't even work at a 50-50 weight (comes out to 88%). Does anybody know if Wiley weights the difficulty of the questions like the actual exam does? Of course I understand it can't use other candidates performance to determine the weighting but maybe they have a preset weighting based upon difficulty? That's the only thing I can think of…
