I have heard that Becker’s final exam is a killer. I took a final exam with Wiley and scored a lil over a 72. I’ve also been going module by module answering atleast 75% of the problems in each module in the wiley software study mode and been getting atleast 80% right. Does anyone think the Wiley problems are as hard as the becker problems, also with these scores in the 70’s and 80’s does anyone think these are higher enough to feel comfortable taking the test?

The Wiley test is probably not as hard as becker, and you should be scoring in the 80's before you take the exams. Also be honest if you are guessing at questions as you may not guess correct durring the exam. My guess is you probably need a bit more if you are in the 70's. Tackle your weak ares after each practice test. Or just tackle all related questions if you know what they are. Then take practice test and see how you do.

Most review courses use the exam same questions that they license from the AICPA.

HazeEastwood: When I was studying for BEC the first time, I got in the 50's on both Becker practice tests…they are very difficult. Wiley says you should be getting an 80 to be in good shape. It sounds like you have a good grasp on the material, so I would just review, and re-review ALL the practice Q's…know why the right answers are right and why the wrong answers are wrong. Spend more time going over the ones that you got wrong, and make notes if you need to make sure the info sticks. Although it does seem as you are in passing territory 🙂 You just want to make sure that you have a buffer.

    REG 79 (Becker); BEC 63 (Becker) 70 (Yaeger); AUD 66 (Becker; 11/30 - Becker); FAR 11/24 (Yaeger/Wiley)
