Wiley Test Bank

I think I read a post where Wiley was actively asking for suggestions on improving their already awesome online test bank (apart from the occasional proofreading issues lol).

Two huge improvements would be the following:

    1. Adding an option to separate computational problems from non-computational problems. Often, I’m studying in a spot where it’s not convenient to do a long computation. However, it’s convenient to do a quick theory question. No other review course, software, etc that I know of has such a feature, and I already have Becker, Wiley and Gleim.

    2. Adding an IFRS only section. You could select to see only questions that focus on the differences between GAAP and IFRS.

Anyway, I think these would be huge. I know first hand that seeing a long ass computational problem when I’m surrounded by distractions is not the way to study. However, if I’m given short theory questions when surrounded by all sorts of distractions, I can still squeeze in some quality studying time.

I am on Wiley's new student advisory board and we are having our first conference call on Tuesday, I copied your suggestions to a doc and once I see how the board will work as far as us making suggestions then I can pass these along to Wiley. Although I do know that there is a Wiley rep who reads these boards so he may make note of them himself.

Quick question, whats the best way to access the Wiley test bank? and can I purchase/download online or is something that comes in the mail?

Form is temporary, class is permanent.

I would like to add that if Wiley had an option to sort by non calculation questions and calculation questions, then I probably would have bought it. Sometimes, when I only had a few minutes to study, I would find myself skipping through Becker questions to find theory related ones that were relatively short.

    Good idea @latenight.
