Does anyone know if the Wiley test bank software questions include all of the Wiley book questions as well?

I've think I've only seen a few duplicates, however the test bank and the ipad app have a lot of the same questions.

    @bnrhilton is correct …

BOOK vs. TEST BANK — mostly different … about 10% same MCQ

APP vs. TEST BANK — same MCQ

Some variation based on year over year (i.e. 2011 app vs. 2012 Test Bank)

The yearly content updates happen at different times …

    > Books (usually Nov of year prior to date on cover)

    > Test Bank (Jan to March depending on year)

    > Apps (Jan to April) … MCQ go into Online first then ported to Apps

Online Test Bank has real-time changes. For example a new set of 200 MCQ were recently added.

    Hope that helps.

Can anyone tell me if the MCQs on Wiley book or Wiley Test Bank directly extracted from CPA exam? Thank you.

They are licensed from the AICPA, yes.

I am doing some questions online using the Wiley testbank and I am still having a problem with the fact that the report of how you did during the practice session do not give a true picture of the questions you get wrong but says I get 100% correct even though i got like 90% wrong on my first attempt and got them right when i try again.

When it comes review time you cant review what you got incorrect because the testbank says u got 100% correct.

I dont like this last answer correct at all.

If i want to know my true performance i have to go through all the questions at first attempt dont try again and then review when i am done and not at the same time i am practicing.

    This is depressing me… seriously.

undeniable – I think with Wiley if you get a question wrong and continue (as opposed to “trying again”) it will give you a better reflection of your score. You can then go back, choose whatever section you're working on and select to see questions you've answered incorrectly at least _ (type in 1). I was having the same issue since I usually like to review questions that I got wrong as opposed to all of them.

    A - 84
    B - 74;89
    F - no study = 67; May 15 = 87 & done

Undeniable- I agree and feel this is somewhat unproductive for studying and does not truly portraying how you did. I like being able to see the correct answer and explanation as soon as I submit my answer and even if it is wrong I want them to capture that. If I'm doing 50 MCQ at a time, by the time I finish and see the ones I missed and have to review those, I've nearly doubled the amount of time it could have taken me to do those MCQ. Arg!

However… I have just learned to make little tally marks on top of my paper as I go along and miss questions. Its actually much more productive than any other option the software has. So when I'm finished I count the amount missed, subtract from total done, then divide total correct by total attempted.

Keep pushin, don't let this flaw in the software get you down. Hopefully they will fix it.

    Thank you guys.

I try marking the questions i missed too and then i will have those to review and sometimes i write them out in my note book if they are not too long.

I missed 2011 thought because of this change.

I have used other testbank such as Bisk, CPA review for free etc and all these providers used the first questions answer chosen to give you your final test score even if you try all the other answers.

Dont get me wrong …I love Wiley but this really bugs me and have me wondering if i shd get another testbank to practice as well.

But then again since i am broke i might have to stick with what i have and hope for the best.

I would still stick with Wiley. Despite these design issues, I still feel like these MCQs will more than prepare you for the exam… and that is the feedback many people have given.
