How much value does the Wiley test bank offer. I’m just using the wiley text now to study for Reg. Thinking about getting the test bank so I can practice a lot more MC. When you answer a question, does it explain the rationale on the answer? thanks

Can't speak for REG, but I've pretty much just used the test bank MC to prepare for my other exams (plus reading Roger's books) and it worked out very well.

jkpoker1: yes the Wiley test bank gives you the rational behind the answer. In practice mode it is

right after you click next question. In the quiz or test mode you can see the wrong answers in the

reports tab under incorrect questions. You can also flag questions, and see the answers after .

I have found the test bank to be very valuable. The one thing I like better with the book is that you

always can read the answers about why the other choices were wrong. When I go through the questions

once from the book, and twice from the test bank I have passed the tests.

I think doing the first run through of homework problems in the book is your best bet then switching to the test bank. The book is great because it goes mini topic by topic so you can really see your weak points. Plus you can read all reasons for correct/incorrect answers. The test bank (as far as I know) if you get the answer correct it only explains the correct answer, you'd have to go back and click the wrong ones to see why they were incorrect.

The second and third run through ill switch to the test bank. You can be more efficient and hit more problems. Plus they are different than the book so it offers more variety.

I started with just the Wiley books, too, and then decided to get the test bank as I was nearing the time for my first exam…and I'm really glad I did. It's not cheap (way more than the books), but despite being a tightwad, I really think it was worth it!

It does have the rationale, as well as instant grading without seeing the other answers. Additionally, it simulates the testing environment to an extent. I think it is good to get used to doing the problems on the computer, since that's what you'll be doing with the real exam.

So, I would highly recommend getting the test bank!

You can practice research questions and sims in a format very similar to the actual exam which I believe is worth the money. I like that Wiley gives you the answer after each sim before going on to the next.

Wiley test bank is very helpful. Lot of MCQ to practice and also Simulations are very helpful.

I think its worth an investment and if you buy from another71 website you get sm % discount as well.

I think the test bank is a good supplement to any program. I use it as a supplement to CPA Excel and there are a lot of different questions in there. I used it for AUD and REG, and now BEC and I think it has definitely made me understand things more than just the one program can do.

I think it's excellent if you're using Becker. It seemed to focus on the items that Becker didn't question heavily – helps you be more well rounded and there will be fewer surprises on exam day.
