Hello, I am considering purchasing Wiley Online. Does it require any kind of software installation?

Trying to use it at work. No software installation is allowed at work.

    @gottagetmycpa

During my review I did custom tests (available in study mode) by topic. I set the number of MCQ to the maximum (99) and the SIMS to 0. If there were more than 99 questions on a topic I created a second exam designating the topic and using the “not seen yet” designation for the questions. After I'd gone thru my entire review this way, I did sample exams of 90 questions and 7 sims so I was used to shifting from topic to topic.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80
    BEC 5/13/11 - 85

@KB24, how do you know how many questions per topic with Wiley? Once you select 99 MCQ's does it tell you?

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

If it's less than 99 questions, it will give you all the questions available. So, for example, if there are only 65 questions that's all it will give you. If it has more than 99, it will give you 99. That's when I added the second test on the topic with the “not seen” designation.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80
    BEC 5/13/11 - 85

Just wondered if anybody knew. I keep missing simulation questions on Wiley because I put them in the wrong order. The order isn't important to the question, I just put h and d not d and h. Do I need to worry about putting the answers in alphabetical order on the exam or can it tell that I had both of the right answers.

    BEC - 77
    AUD - 83
    REG - 76
    FARS - 74, 84

@gotta – While I did do large quantities of MCQ at a time, I did sometimes exit in the middle of a test and take a break. When I was doing the sample exams at the end, though, I did do all 90 MCQ and 7 SIMS at one sitting in order to prepare myself for the real thing.

@peanut – Thanks! Good luck to you on your exam.

@theta – The order doesn't matter on the exam unless it states so in the question.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80
    BEC 5/13/11 - 85

An easier way to make custom tests by topic is to click the “add questions manually” button at the bottom of the screen. It will bring you to a screen with all the questions sorted by topic. All you need to do is highlight the questions you want and click the add button. Creating a test this way is so much easier because your custom test can be more than 99 questions.
