Is the Wiley Software online and the test bank the same thing?

I think you can have the online version or have a cd version. Initially they sent me a disk, but it didn't work. So, then they gave me access to the online test bank.

The exact same thing that happened to yankeeaccountant happened to me. When the Wiley tech offered the online option, he told me it was the same as the CD.

No, the online/cd have a lot more questions than the book.

they are not the same but I find that the questions in wiley's book are more difficult (the wording seems closer to the actual exam, just my feeling though) than in the software. anybody else have the same feeling? I'm still debating if I should do the questions in the book for FAR or just the ones in the software because I go through questions much faster with the software than flipping back and forth in the books.

I have both wiley book and online access. I follow Jeff's instruction of studying early in the morning at 4 A.M.

What I did was to go through the Wiley text questions after studying each section in homework mode i.e. tried to do them without the text, but used the text if I didn't remember or understand that concept. After I reviewed my answers, I made a few notes re weak areas or stupid mistakes that I kept making. I used these notes when reviewing to make sure I worked on these particular issues. During my review I used the test bank. It gave me additional problems and helped me increase my speed, plus, as you said, it was faster than the text.

I am about to order the online test bank from Wiley for AUD, but I was wondering if I should go ahead and pay $300 for all the parts for a whole year rather than having to pay $99 for AUD only for a whole year, then having to pay $99 for all the subsequent parts? Any advice?

Economically, is cheaper $299 for all parts one year subscription. But I also have the books. Please advice.

I paid for all Wiley online test bank one time, rather than buying separately. I study other parts sometimes when I get tired of studying same thing too many times. It is also cheaper. Books have different set of questions and they are also tricky. So try both.

Jeff, does the online test bank license you to use its content only if you are in the US? I'm interested in buying access, and as a Canadian candidate I'm wondering if there would be a problem if I would try to log in to the Wiley website from an IP address out of the country. (I looked at Wiley's website and it wouldn't let me checkout with “Canada” set as my country, so I'm wondering if that was due to currency issues, or licensing issues.) Thanks.
