Lately I’ve been taking practice tests on various subjects for REG and have been getting back scores that don’t appear to be accurate. When I check the incorrect answers, it shows different answers in many questions that I have actually picked correctly. I was wondering if anyone else had scoring issues within Wiley and if there is a quick fix for it? I have contacted Wiley about the issue, but just wanted to see if others have encountered it too. Normally I gauge which areas I need to the most work on via my Wiley scores after I finish my Becker stuff, so it would be nice to get that fixed soon enough.

The site takes the first answer you choose, regardless of whether you changed your answer or not. It's definitely something that they should take a look at and fix.

In study mode users wanted to be able to see answer explanations for every question so clicked through them one by one to see the explanations — but they wanted the first choice they selected to be used for scoring to represent their best choice before seeing explanations. So we updated the scoring 7/23/12 to score the first selected choice. Subsequently other users provided feedback similar to yours requesting the ability to make a selection and change it prior to the question being scored.

We are working on a solution to satisfy everyone's needs around this issue.

We've been hearing many comments and POVs on the Test Bank scoring works. A better solution is being planned that better meets everyone's needs. We posted some comments regarding the change in scoring on this thread:
