I’m taking FAR (first CPA exam) in about a month and am using Wiley. I’m curious as to what everyone has scored on the Mock exams compared to you’re actual exam?

Also, what was the range you would score on in the questions and assessments after the lessons?

My advice: Really focus on the MCQ part of the mock exams. The Wiley software does not give enough partial credit on the SIMS, nor do any of the sims (outside of their DRS where you choose between which sentence is correct) simulate in any way what you'll see on test day.

Pound pound pound away at the MCQ's and you should be scoring above 80% on each testlet of MCQ's so you'll have some margin of error for SIMS on test day. I think I got ~75 on mock test A and ~80 on mock test B. The reason they were so much lower than my actual score was because of not receiving partial credit on SIMS. GL!

I used Wiley for all exam sections but supplemented with Roger audio notes for all except FAR and I also used NINJA MCQ for REG. My last mock exam is pretty close to the actual. I take at least 4 mock exams for each section. For FAR my last mock exam was 83, for AUD it was 96, BEC was a different story because of the written communication, and for REG I got 86.

I don't stop studying an area until I get 90%. However, I don't do diagnostic assessments until after I finished all topics covered. I love Wiley because they are really straight forward and provide you with all materials and some powerful tools you need to pass the exam.

I also used Wiley and believe it was a great review guide to use. Most of my mock exams trended in the 80s for all the exams (I believe I got a 90 once on AUD mock exam), but my actual scores on the exams are in the 90s except for FAR.

To me, Wiley questions were more difficult than the actual exams. So if you just keep doing practice quizzes and mock exams and trend well, you will most likely pass the exam.
