Has anyone used the Wiley focus notes for BEC? I have access to them and I also have the Ninja notes and Ninja Audio. Just curious if I should take the time to go through the 175 pages of the Wiley focus notes or Just stick with the Ninja stuff. I am taking my exam on April 2nd (16 days). Thanks in advance.

I used the Wiley focus notes for all of my exams so far. I found them somewhat helpful, as they are a quick way to review some of the main points. I think they're good to go through once, and mark some of the pages on the areas that you're having trouble with so you can review those in more detail as the exam gets closer. However, Ninja MCQs are really what helped me most for my BEC exam. Definitely spend the majority of your time doing ridiculous amounts of those MCQs, as they will be the most helpful out of anything. And don't get too frustrated over any of the MCQs that have you doing really long or complicated computations…I wish I hadn't wasted so much time on some of those. Best of luck on your exam!

I have been trying to do about 100 MCQs a day after work. You suggest not wasting time on the problems that are are really involved? I have taken BEC once before and got a 70. I am working my but off to bring it up, listining to the Audio everyday to and from work and doing as many MCQs as possible. Thanks again

Yeah, a lot of the really involved problems just seem unnecessary and a passing score is VERY possible without knowing everything in so much detail. Definitely keep at the MCQs and I think that will be the key to getting a passing score. I got an 85 on BEC and was trending close to 90% on Ninja MCQs when I took the exam…maybe that gives you some kind of idea of what to shoot for.

Thanks ASUalum. I will keep that in mind( already blew off a couple involved ones this morning). Im trending at a 75 right now but have only answered 386 of the problems and still in the assessment stage. Hoping to bang out another 500 or so by the end of the weekend. I did look through the Wiley notes last night and they seem pretty similar to the ninja notes just a little more formal. Thanks again
