I used just Wiley textbooks and MCQs – so waaaay less than Wiley Platinum – and passed all 4 first-try, scores were something like BEC 79, FAR 81, AUD 92, REG 83.
Other people have used Wiley ____ (insert which combo here) and failed all multiple times, then switched ____ (insert other provider here) and passed each one on the next try.
Wiley suited me wonderfully. I wanted something I could dig into that would give me everything and leave it to me to find the amusement in it (which I did by eating an M&M or Skittle or a Smarties or something like that for every page I read). But, others want something that gives them the “important” info, or breaks it down into “bite-size” memorable nuggets, or want lectures rather than books, etc. etc.
So, Wiley CPA Platinum is more than sufficient to pass the CPA exams. But whether or not it will be for you is something that only you can figure out. If you feel like you need some supplements, go ahead and get them. If you feel pretty comfortable with Wiley, then roll with Wiley. It's enough, but whether you and it can “talk to each other” well enough for it to be right for you is another question.
