Hi Guys,

Can anyone share their experience about the Wiley CPA review free trial content? Is the free Wiley trial content enough for passing the CPA exams? Or is it advisable to purchase the full content?

Could anyone share some insights on Wiley CPA, would be very helpful…thanks.

The 14 day trial only opens up a few chapters for you to check out and see if you'd like to purchase Wiley materials for studying. You're going to want to actually purchase some type of materials.

@thomsonllp90, I used Wiley (Gold version) and thought it was a very good cpa exam review course. It had its faults and some glitches with the online content, but I think you will run into some type of issue with whatever program you use.

Wiley also recently updated their mobile app so you can watch their video lectures on your phone, which I found very useful. In addition, their updated review course includes DRS Simulations (which is new for the CPA exams) while I heard other programs such as Becker may not have.

So personally, I would recommend Wiley.

I use Wiley, but I use the platinum. If you are going to pass, just spend the money because I just passed my first try at BEC with 80, and I got 73 on AUD (boo). REG was a different monster and the first exam I took, and I clearly didn't know what to do when I took it! But Wiley is very good. Recommend!

I tried Wiley free trial, too. But I used it solely for the practice questions. I really like the MCQ, and I think it helped a lot with my AUD exam.

The free trial is offered for a reason – to give you enough time to evaluate the product and decide if it's the right fit for you. Not all reviews are the same – Wiley relies primarily on practice questions, accompanied by short videos & small “study guides.” It's much less comprehensive than courses like Becker — depending on your learning style, this may be a good or bad thing. I did the free trial and was sent a promotional offer that made it worth purchasing (~$1300 for the silver course, plus a pair of Boise headphones).
