My exam is next month on August 26th. I have mixed comments regarding studying the AU, or the AU(clarified) only, or both. The Wiley review book states that the AU are for examinations before 07/30/13 and AU-C after. Does AU-C completely replaces AU? I want to be absolutely sure before I spend my time and effort on the 90 or so pages or completely skip them.

The AICPA announced the research question included in the simulations will use the clarified standards (AU-C) not the “old SAS” (AU), starting in July 2013.

For MCQ, issuers still use AU. Only non-issuers use AU-C.
