    Wiley Question –

It seems like they totally dropped the ball on this. Once I started using WTB I saw that there were partnership accounting questions and I opened up my old gleim book from college and they had some too. Is this a lightly tested topic and that’s why they left it out?

    BEC - 84, 4/6/13
    AUD - 77, 5/28/13
    REG - 83, 4/12/14
    FAR - 83, 10/3/13

    Ethics - 90% 4/24/13

I wondered the same exact thing when studying for FAR. Nothing in CPAexcel but 40 or so questions in Wiley TB. I didn't see any mention of partnership accounting in the AICPA CSO. I don't think CPAexcel dropped the ball, I think Wiley just had irrelevant questions. I could be wrong though.

It's included in the ninja notes.

If it's not in the AICPA CSO does that mean it wont be on the test? I have 4 days b4 FAR and am wondering if I should spend a few hours getting it down.

    BEC - 84, 4/6/13
    AUD - 77, 5/28/13
    REG - 83, 4/12/14
    FAR - 83, 10/3/13

Partnership taxation is one of the important topics for REG. Definitely spend some time on it. That's all I can say….

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
    California CPA since 1/30/14

I think the CSO is intended to be a broad outline of the topics, just because it isn't on there specifically doesn't necessarily mean it won't be tested. I ran out of time studying and just completely ignored it.

I don't see Pensions listed either in the CSO.

Be generally familiar with what is in the ninja notes.

Oh. Sorry. If there aren't that many MCQs in Wiley TB then just make sure you know the basics.

    FAR: 81 (May 2013)
    BEC: 81 (July 2013)
    REG: 83 (August 2013)
    AUD: 82 (November 2013)
