    Wiley Question –

    Like:

    Can use my iPad

    Don’t like:

    1. Only 30 practice questions at one time.

    2. You can not re-due all questions you answered incorrectly, you can only answer incorrect questions from last practice session.

    3. Does not have option to see questions you answered wrong more than a certain amount of times.

    4. You can not manage your practice sessions.

    Conclusion:

Will continue to use the old version as long as I can.

    FAR - 79 (05/31/2013)
    REG - 81 (10/20/2013)
    AUD - 77 (02/28/2014)
    BEC - 80 (05/15/2014)

    DONE!!!!!

I don't understand why Wiley even updated the test bank if all these new problems were gonna pop up. It seems like its going to be updated to reflect the style of the old test bank. Is it because of the merger with CPAExcel?

@Soundwave there were a few reasons for updating the Test Bank:

    1. The existing Test Bank requires Java which caused many support issues for users

    2. Java also meant Test Bank could not run on mobile devices like tablets

    3. Consolidating onto one technology platform with CPAexcel with one dedicated engineering team will ultimately allow us to produce a better product for users. We already have been able to cut updates from months to weeks and I think you'll see rapid adjustments as needed to address any current issues.

Any upgrades/changes will always have bugs. What disturbed me was that they did the change in a testing window(mid feb). Wouldnt it have made more sense to wait until early March?

I don't like that you can't delete practice sessions or reset your history. I'm gearing up for a BEC retake and wanted to start over with MCQs. I'm going to use the old website for the retake. Hopefully they'll add this functionality in soon.

I have three more classes to go before I have enough credits to sit for the CPA. Question to the ones that are using the Wiley Test Bank: Would you recommend I purchase the 2013 TB or wait for some of these issues to be fixed and purchase the 2014 TB? (I will be starting studying for FAR sometimes in July 2014)

Although there may be a few issues for Wiley to work out on their test bank, I think it's a good product. I like how much more accessible 2014 is over 2013- and I like the direction they're going with the formatting changes.

The bugs are worth it to be off a Java platform which caused many issues sometimes (i.e. it didn't work or couldn't access it) and this also allows me to use it on the iPad. That is very nice.

I preferred the old view – one question at a time. The new view makes me overwhelmed

    A - 67, 64, 92!!
    R - 61, 75!
    B - 80!
    F - 68, 78!! DONE!
