Hi everyone. I’m new to posting on Another 71, but have been trolling the page for tips and support for about a year now. Anyway, I took my first REG exam in Feb 2011 and failed due to only studying for about a week and a half. I am now (finally) beginning to study for my retake in November. I have the 2011 Wiley study guide that I used previously and was wondering if it is sufficient to use for a 2012 exam? Everywhere I’ve looked has said that there are no major changes and the exam doesn’t test on detailed tax law changes from year to year. I used Wiley, supplemented with the NINJA notes, for all other exams and passed, so I’m hoping some of you out there have had luck with year-old study guides…
