I am using Becker material to study for the audit exam. I have thought about purchasing the Wiley test bank just to have additional multiple choice questions and simulations to work through. From previous experience do you guys think it is worth the money? I just don’t want to buy it and it turn out to be the almost the same questions I have with the Becker review. Thanks guys

Definitely worth the money. It is different questions than Becker. However they both license questions from the AICPA so you may run across an occasional question that is a repeat but not that many if you do. I don't remember any duplicates in Auditing. Regulation had some duplicatess but mainly in the Wiley book and the Becker software.

Thanks, sounds like it wouldn't hurt to at least try it.

Worth Every Penny. You get questions from a different perspective. I feel the Wileys question were more inline with what you will see on the test.

    B 5/5/12

A 8/22/12 Please Please Please Please

    R 2/18/12

    F 10/28/11

I would also say go for it. I mix up between Becker and Wiley, sometimes I like Wiley's explanations more, and the fact that in practice it lets you keep guessing until you get the question correct. This helps me to remember why some items are not correct.

Also, I find Wiley is more to the point on a lot of things, where Becker asks for a crazy long computation you'd never see on the exam.

    B 71 - 79 EXPIRED
    A 69 - 75 EXPIRED
    R 65 - 48 - 45
    F 56 - 61 - 65 - 64

I agree, Wiley's test questions are very similar to the actual exam. Based off my experience from taking BEC, and AUD.

Although Wiley test bank does have some mistakes.. so if you come across something u just don't get, or feel like its wrong.. send it over to wiley support..

I've corrected them on 3 questions / typos so far..

I would definitely suggest buying it. Worth the investment.

Having read the material, I use Becker to understand the questions and practice and then check in with Wiley to see how much I grasped the topics. This way I don't get the answers right because of re-calling the right answer. Hope that makes sense.

    Yes yes yes! Definitely!

I use Roger, so we get two textbooks for each exam. One with Roger notes & then the Wiley textbook with MCQ. We also get the Wiley TestBank, so it's nice having that online version when you don't want to deal with flipping pages.

Sometimes I wonder if people get distracted or side tracked with all of this different study material. From what I have heard, Becker seems pretty good. Wiley is good too but if it was me I would probably just pound becker.

Some people think seeing repeat questions is a problem…but if you are understanding the concepts/reasons of those repeats in a single test bank that may be more efficient than just trying to answer questions across tons of other test banks. All of the test banks seems to do a decent job of replicating the scores on the exams so I don't think you are hurting yourself by just sticking to one of them.
