NYCaccountantParticipantWiley Question –
Am I the only person who feels this way? I’m trying to use the old test bank for my last test, but my Audit activation code has somehow not registered, so I’m forced to use the 2014 test bank. I hate it though! Does anyone know of a way I can still use the old test bank?
FAR - 93
REG - 87
BEC - 84!!!!
AUD - 99!!!!!! CPA exam complete.

MikeHonchoMemberI was just thinking that a few minutes ago. I didn't mind the changes at first. But now, if WTB didn't come free with my review course I'd be really upset with the changes.
1.) The grade and progress percentages are never the same when I log out and log back in the next day. Its like it doesn't save all the time.
2.) Another thing is the Progress Reports under the review tab blow. The most missed question features doesn't work.
And it doesn't tell you how many questions you actually attempted in each section.
3.) Whenever you try and pause a session you think the clock has stopped but when you resume it just adds back the time you were away.
Maybe its just my computer. Wiley doesn't seem to care anyways.
As for whether or not you can access the old test bank this is the link I go to: https://wiley.cliksonline.com/Wiley/login/CPA
Done: 5/22/14

AnonymousInactiveIn the old exam, you can exclude sessions if you absolutely bombed one, so that it doesn't skew your progress report. You can't exclude sessions in the new WTB. Also, in the old one you have a nice bar graph that shows how well you do, but in the new one, there is no bar graph.

SeePeaAyeMemberI hate how you cannot exclude sections also. Like when retaking an exam, I don't want to count the progress that I had last time I took the exam, I want to know my current progress. I actually emailed customer service about that and they said they were aware of it being an issue and it was to be corrected during the next update but didn't say when that was going to be.I also feel like there are a lot of issues with the answers being wrong. It will mark something wrong, then if you read the explanation, it will explain why a different answer was wrong. Very confusing.

AnonymousInactive@NYCaccountant – you're not the only one. The new version blows. The format bugs me because I don't like how it gives you the answer upfront, even in the CPA mode. The old version did not do that and I do not think the scoring is reliable in the new version. Too bad the vendor tinkered with something that was working fine in the first place. I also don't like Wiley text. I plan to discontinue WTB and use Ninja MCQ or Gleim. Still doing some research into this.

AnonymousInactiveNew WTB allows ipad users but once you touch the answer, it immediately gives you the feedback.
Sometimes I am not sure of the answer but it won't give me a second to change my mind.
Oh and some days I am doing mcqs and dozing off, touching the screen by accident, my wrong answer is recorded for good.
Sometimes I have to pause session and come back later, The record where I left off is still there.
Like other poster says, you can't delete the history.
I still have the access till next march for all four parts, I am not sure if ninja mcq (or any additional material) is necessary.
I know your frustration though.

KBinMNMemberAnd what happened to the “seen fewer than” option?
And you have to pick a multiple of 10 in practice mode? What if I want to do 12, 15, 18? Stupid!
I also think some of the explanations could be better, but I'm not sure that's different from the old version.

AnonymousInactiveAlso, the old WTB is more similar to the actual CPA exam as in each question as it's own page. I.e. if you are doing 30 questions, there would be 30 different pages, like the real exam. But in the new WTB, if you are doing 30 questions, then all 30 would be on one page.

NYCaccountantParticipantIt's just very bad. I wonder what they were thinking when they designed it? Or maybe they were not thinking.
I was reading the book for Audit last night and I literally fell asleep. Now I know I will not have time sleeping during studying for this test lol.
