So I have failed AUD 4 times now (54,72,59,73). I am pretty strong in multiple choice, may need to improve in a couple of areas, and weaker in simulations. I have been using Becker and Ninja notes. I am thinking about getting the Wiley test bank. I have been using the free trial (multiple choice) and think the questions are a little bit more challenging than Becker’s questions, which is great. Has anyone benefited from using the Wiley test bank for simulations? I feel like Becker’s simulations are not as difficult as the ones on the exam.

Yes , it is really helpful. In my third attempt – becker mcqs were not very helpful , may be because i practice them so many times , Also I was not learning anything new…

and yes the MCQ from Wiley really prepared me for the test, , It will clear your concepts. I love those 17 research questions in wiley test bank. it enhanced my research skills which paid me off with passing marks even though its not 80 + but enough to pass.

I hope I pass on my third attempt at AUD in January. This exam is a tough journey.

@DavidB1990, congrats on passing BEC. Yes, this exam has definitely been a tough journey. I can't believe I have spent $1,000s on exam fees and preps. I hope this is all worth it in the long run. How did you do on the AUD sims? I am also retaking AUD in January.

It's really hard to practice for the SIMS, but I felt like Wiley helped me familiarize myself with the concept. I would definitely recommend it if you haven't tried it.

Tootsie – I am also a tax accountant. I think Aud is just our kryptonite. My former Mentor ( CPa and JD) admitted that he had issues with it too and he is a genius in my opinion. Here is what was recommended to me – I re recommend to anyone struggling with anything in life, CPA etc.

1) Audit for Dummies

2) Study Smarter not Harder.

I have the Audit for Dummies book. Yeah, the Wiley test bank is going well for me. I have also been studying my Becker flashcards when I have downtime at work. I think with using Becker, Wiley test bank, Ninja notes, and Dummies book, I should be in good shape for the exam. Practice makes perfect. 🙂
