Interpreting Wiley scores

    Anybody using/has used Wiley test bank for REG? Is anybody seeing a difference in scores when selecting “all questions” versus ” questions not seen yet”? I am scoring in the 79 range for the “all questions” category and score lower in the “not seen yet” category. Do you guys think that the not seen yet are harder or am I psyching myself out?! It does seem like I can go through the first category quickly timewise and it takes me longer on the later. I am 2 days out to my exam so I may not be objective.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks guys!

    @yankee

    I think you're psyching yourself out. You're probably faster and doing better on the questions you've seen before because you have some familiarity with them, but you'll keep improving as you do more MCQ. Just stay calm and focused and know that there are a lot of people out here rooting for you.

    FAR 4/1/11 - 89
    AUD 4/15/11 - 85
    REG 4/29/11 - 80
    BEC 5/13/11 - 85

    I took REG a few weeks ago using the Wiley book and test bank, I was scoring in the low-mid 70's, even high 60's, when I took the exam and I actually felt pretty comfortable with the MCQ's on the actual exam. I think if you're scoring high 70's on Wiley (and arent just memorizing answers) then you should be in pretty good shape come test time.

    SIMS are a completely different story tho…no way to really be prepared for those.

    @kb24 and Calcpasoon,

    Thanks guys for your input. I appreciate them both. I do think my own head is messing with me a bit! Need to readjust 🙂

    I keep using the not seen yet category so that I am not memorizing anything. I hope that works. I will continue to hammer the mcq's and hope that is the ticket. I realize the sims are a different story…not excited about them.

    Thanks for the good vibes!
