I hope CPAExcel is enough for REG

I’m simply running out of time here. I rewrote my notes for the entire CPAExcel book and went through the MCQ’s and SIMS for the entire course.

I had hoped to do it again as well as go through Wiley’s mcq’s again but I doubt I will have time between now and Thursday. So at this point, I am thinking I will just go with CPAExcel all the way to the mat.

As I was doing the mcq’s and SIMS I made notes on anything that was not 100% in memory. Now it looks like I will just have time to do CPAExcel once more.

I hope CPAExcel is enough. I did Wiley 3x each last time.

What are you doing different this time vs your 66 last time?

    More hours? More MCQs?

Well that's just it, last time I studied to exhaustion and had some extraordinarly life events happen right before the exam. I was honestly in no shape to take an exam of this magnatude and the fact I made a 66 is a miracle in and of itself.

This time I bought Ninja notes and read through them (definitely helped). This time I did the CPAExcel course in it's entrety and did fairly well. I've spent the last two days creating ‘cheat sheets' of items that are difficult and that will need to be memorized for the exam (AMT formulas and adjustments vs preferences, trust taxation, differences between S corp, pship and C corp taxation). As I went through the exams this time on CPAExcel, I made notes of everything I missed or anything I wanted to specifically remember. Oh and this time I did every one of the CPAExcel SIMS, last time I didn't touch SIMS except for the research SIMS. I hope the real test this time are like the CPAExcel SIMS, last time they were BRUTAL.

I'm going to go back through CPAExcel again between now and Thursday and hope that's enough. I remember much of the Wiley mcq's.

This time, I am significantly more rested and in a much better place. I hope it's enough, I just received word at work that I am moving up the chain and will be much more challenged at work, so I need to nail REG this time.

Also, I rewrote my entire set of notes from CPAExcel and fused in Ninja where applicable.

    Gotcha.

I recommend re-reading the ninja notes the afternoon before your exam as a final “cram” – especially for BLaw.

    Definitely will Jeff

To make it clear, I restudied everything as if I didn't know anything. I didn't skip anything.

The hardest part seems to be keeping all this information fresh and front and center of the mind.

I only used CPAExcel+Ninja Notes+CPARFF SIMS for REG. The last four days all I did was MCQs and SIMS, no reading or anything else.

I used CPAExcel and the Wiley Test Bank for REG. Worked for me!

    CPAexcel CPA Review

    REG - 89
    BEC - 82
    FAR - 87
    AUD - 81
Used CPAexcel, Wiley Online Practice, and NINJA!
