Wiley Question –

I don’t get it.

I find exactly what the question is asking to the ‘T” and then when it comes to check my answer it gives me some AU section not even listed in the research tab.

Anyone one else run into this problem?

FAR - Bad Fail '11, Fail '12, Fail '13, PASS It's a miracle!
AUD - Fail, PASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BEC - PASS!!!!!!!!
REG - PASS!!!!!!!! And I'm done!

This is happening to me as well…Is the WTB system not updated ?

Same problem here.

The WTB answers are correct, however it seems the Clarified standards literature isn't in the software yet. I checked this by logging onto Checkpoint at work and finding it.

For example, my two questions I just encountered on WTB were about:

Going Concern: AU-C 570.A1 (but only had access to AU 341.05)

Emphasis of a matter: AU-C 706.07 (but only had access to AU 508.19)

So WTB will mark as incorrect if you use the literature because it is the old standard. Hopefully they update it with the Clarified standards soon!

Wiley is not updated with the new clarified standards, I think they might do it this Wednesday. So in the meantime use the AICPA free access to study, then check your answer against the Wiley 13 book. Someone did mention this in the forum.

Ah! Should've scrolled through the threads first. I just posted a similar question. I had the same problem, driving me nuts! Guess I'll just have to leave off studying the research questions until the update? Thanks cbbucky!

If you look at the Clarified Standards link I posted above, it really isn't too bad. You can't search all of them at once, but you can narrow it down to the topic then find the paragraph within by using Ctrl+F in the document.

WTF is up with Wiley? I looked at the .pdf they posted on their website of the sims and they are the exact same questions that pull up on the test bank! As mentioned here, the only issue I have had is with the research questions because they haven't updated the authoritative literature.

I believe you can still use the test bank on the other non research sims but can someone else confirm?
