    Wiley Question –

So far I’ve taken AUD and BEC with Becker. 74 on BEC and waiting for AUD results. My friend who passed has lent me CPAexcel. I’ve logged in, but am confused with how to supplement it. Any tips on how I should approach this if I choose to use this to retake AUD and BEC?

    Thanks,

I used CPAexcel for all four exams. FAR I studied 6 weeks and supplemented with nothing, BEC 4 weeks, Reg 4 weeks and Aud about a week and a half. I supplemented the last three with Ninja and that really really helped with the MCQ's for myself And I bought their notes on the sections that I couldn't really wrap my mind around and the notes helped bring it together.

I used CPAexcel and supplemented with Ninja notes and MCQ. CPAexcel can really bog you down with all the different tools they give you. Pretty much everything in the videos, powerpoint, and study text say the same thing with the study text being a bit more detailed. If you're using Becker and want to supplement it in, I'd recommend sticking to the powerpoint and MCQ and read the study text as needed for further info. I do highly recommend the Ninja MCQ for both AUD and BEC as CPAexcels MCQ isn't near as detailed as Ninja or Becker.

    FAR 8/18/2014--87
    AUD 10/18/2014--78
    REG 11/24/2014--76
    BEC 2/28/2015--76

For each unit I use prioritize view which basically gives you the video -> book text -> exam questions listed first in that order that you must know. Then after you've done that it will give you supplement material at the bottom like video slides, flash cards, true false questions.

Use all of the material per section, never discount the power of repetition.

I used only CPA excel for AUD, BEC, and FAR. All I did was watch videos, take notes, do the MCQ's and review my notes.
For REG I added NINJA MCQ, that product is really good at helping you study in your weak areas and study sections that you have already completed in CPA excel.

I'm using CPAExcel and purchased Ninja MCQ probably about half way through AUD on CPAExcel. After using both, I feel like I would have been completely F'd if I didn't supplement with MCQ. Soooo many more questions that make you think about things you probably wouldn't have with just CPAExcel

    AUD 93 Jan 16
    BEC 83 Feb 16
    FAR 83 Apr 16
    REG 84 May 16

    99% Ninja MCQ only
