    Hello all,

Taking FAR on 5/29. Been preping with Wiley Test Bank exclusively. I usually do at least one 30 MC testlet per day and review all of the answers – done about 700 MC questions so far. I usually practice the sims in the last month or so I don’t feel off track with that yet.

I’m a little concerned about my scores, I have a cumulative score of about 72% but I’ve had a bad run of socres over the past 10 days or so, feel like I’m dragging down my mean. Scoring in the 60s and low 70s.

Is anyone else using Wiley Test Bank? What was your experience with your scores? I’ve used it for my other tests but generally found my scores started to improve with about a month to go. I ended up averaging b/t a 75% and 80% on my cumulative Wiley Test Bank efforts for my prior exams.

Just starting to get a little concerned with a month before the exam . . .

WTB is a boot camp – beat your head against it and you'll be ready.

That is my only comfort right now. . . .

I take the exam on the 10th. i have done all wiley online testbank MQs at least twice and am still only getting in the low 70s. Part of the problem seems to be that there is so much material i can only store so much of it in my brain for so long! I have used Wiley exclusivley for the other three sections of the exam and only had 1 re-take. However, i feel i put much less studying time in for the others and i was getting much stronger MQ scores this close to exam date. So i too am feeling some despair. lolol. Want to rescheduel but i've already done that twice! I used the Wiley book initially for BEC but realized it was so boring i'd never be able to retain information by learning it that way. Just re-working the MQs has been my trick so far and i'm hoping Wiley doens't do me wrong for FAR. Want to be done with this! Oh,and i did purchase the Ninja notes for FAR. I think they will get me some extra points if i read just prior to the exam. Help me remember some major things i woudl ahve forgotten despite having gone over a hundred times.

I used the Wiley test bank exclusively for FAR. I studied for about three months for probably two hours a day. I'd let anything distract me, though; I've always been a terrible studier. I focused mostly on MCQ's just because sims were really tedious and less efficient. You need to know how to approach them, but most of the info can be learned through multiple choice repetition. It was awhile ago now, but I think I was to the point that I knew a lot of answers without reading the whole question just because I had seen it so many times. If you get there, you should be able to pull the concept from your brain when it's asked in a different way on the exam. I think I was averaging low 80's or so on MCQ's when I took the test.

Also, I would recommend doing practice sessions only. The instant feedback makes it easier to separate true weaknesses, stuff you misread, and stuff you knew but forgot momentarily. I think that's way better than constantly trying to manufacture a testing environment. Then in the real exam, try to pace yourself such that you have time to go back through and eliminate any dumb mistakes.

    FAR - 76 (1/12)
    AUD - 76 (5/12)
    BEC - 82 (11/12)
    REG - 59, 73, 73, 78! (4/12, 8/12, 10/12, 2/13)

I am still not scoring well on the MC but the Sims are now helping me pass. Today I got a 66% on the MC out of 30 questions but I got an 80% on the testlet (30 MC and 2 Sims).

I've heard folks say they think the Wiley Sims are easy. So far they have been easier than the MC.

So far I've answered 930 multiple choice questions in the TB and have 660 to go.

The WTB MC along with all the ones in the Wiley book probably put me at about 2k MC. All that and I'm still having problems breaking 75% on the MC . . .

Scary. I definitely need to get some SIM improvement to pass…not sure what the best way is to do that. I think it's the journal entries that are killing me.

I might be breaking through – just got a 91% on 30 MC and 3 Sims. Scored in the 80s over the last few days primarily from scoring well on the sims.

Hope I am peaking at the right time with 2 weeks until the exam.

I just finished a practice test in wiley test bank

I must say the sims were too easy compared to my first FAR attempt. Got an 82 overall but some of the questions I remember seeing them in my practice
