I am taking FAR in a 1.5 weeks (8-31), and just finished a 90 MCQ session (all topics). I got 81% correct and was curious how that translates to the actual exam? I searched the forums and only found people talking about how Becker compared (which seems unanimously Becker is harder than the CPA exam). This is my first exam and am searching for some type of barometer for confidence because that has definitely been an issue to this point, and I have read on here how important confidence is with this exam. I am planning on hitting the MCQs and Ninja notes really hard over the next 1.5 weeks to give myself the best chance possible. Up to this point I really have been expecting to fail just because I have no idea what to expect. So, is Wiley test bank easier than the exam, similar to the exam, or harder than the exam? Thanks for the input.

I used Wiley for REG and now for FAR and used Becker. I feel Wiley questions are more difficult than the exam and Becker because there is more detail and ‘tricks' I never scored an 81 on a REG practice test and I passed (barely). Last time I took FAR I was making 60s on the practice tests and scored a 72 on the real thing. Maybe some is just dumb luck but in my opinion, you are well on your way to passing FAR! As long as you are actually understanding why the answer is what it is and are not just a lucky guesser or have memorized the MCQ.

Just keep reading those Ninja notes and taking a bunch of MCQ. Best of luck to you!

Thanks akb9874! A few of the questions I had seen before, but I know why those answers are right and understand the concept. I plan on continuing “all topic” sessions for the rest of this week. Then, next week I will take the cumulative data and focus on my weak areas. Good Luck to you! Just think you are potentially 3 days away from being done with this crap for the rest of your life! I can't wait to be in your shoes.

Thanks! I hope so! Every time I talk about my test infront of my bf and I say ‘If I pass' he gives me this look until I say ‘When I Pass'

Goodness I hope it happens!! Studying by butt off so hopefully I will get those last three points!!
