FAR – How reflective of the exam are the Wiley Test Bank Qs?

Hi everyone. I’m studying for FAR. I’ve been using the Wiley review materials. Without question the MCQs in the textbook are harder on avg. than the ones in the Wiley Test Bank. The test bank almost seems to have just taken variations of the easier ones from the textbook. My questions for anyone who has used Wiley and attempted FAR are:

    1) In terms of difficulty, is the spectrum of MCQs on the Exam more reflective of the Wiley textbook or the Test Bank?

    2) Also, did you feel the Wiley sims in either the test bank or the book adequately prepared you for the exam sims?

    Thanks for your feedback

I've found Wiley to be very reflective of what MCQ's you will see on the exam. In fact, much harder in many cases especially BEC. You will not be underprepared for MCQ's.

SIMS, well if you had ESP you couldn't prepare for many of those.

I found the SIMS in the book to be better preparation than the ones in the online test bank. Not that they were reflective of the kinds of SIMS on the exam, just that they tended to be more in depth with more information to consider.

    BEC - 81 (Nov 2011)
    FAR - 87 (May 2012)(Skipped 1st window)
    AUD - 80 (Aug 2012)
    REG - 81 (Nov 2012)
