rbcpaParticipantI took FAR last week. However if I don’t pass I lose my BEC credit. My BEC becker review course is already expired and I would need to get another review course. Which course do you recommend?
Also, my Wiley test bank expires today…what would be better renew it threw cpatestbank or buy the testbank through another71?
BEC - PASSED
AUD - PASSED
REG - PASSED
FAR - PASSED

Study MonkMemberThere is no way I could read those Wiley books. I have Becker and CPA excel. I have only been using CPA excel for a few days but I find their reading material easier to digest than both Becker and Wiley. Becker's software is better by a good amount in my opinion and Becker's test bank is bigger and has better descriptions. In most people's budget a cpaexcel/wiley test bank combo makes sense.
I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:
"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"

AnonymousInactive@Study Monk I have been reading the Wiley book for audit and I must say its the dryest book I have read in quite sometime. I wish they had better paper quality or something. But then again for the price I cannot really complain much. But man oh man does take everything in me to stomach sitting down and reading that book. Which I am about to do since work is slow today.

san4596MemberI renewed my WTB through A71! Way cheap compared to Wiley's website. I purchased a 1 year for FAR for $73.95 using the coupon code “HIYA” for the 15% discount. Going through the Wiley website is $105 per section for 1 year access.
CPA EXAM: DONE!!!!
Ethics Course: Passed
Application Mailed: 3/16/15
Professional Conduct Exam: 97
Certification Date: 4/2/15!!!February 18, 2014 at 5:55 pm #517776

fsugirl2005ParticipantI'm using the Wiley book this time as well and I do not like it. When I took and passed FAR in 2010, I used the Gleim book plus Yaeger lectures. Funny though, I'm going back to using my Gleim 2010 book even though I know it is way outdated. Much of the stuff didn't change but some did(i.e. IFRS). Sadly, Gleim will not let you just buy their book now. You have to get the book as an addition to their test bank. I liked their test bank too but they threw a lot of CMA and other types of Non-CPA questions in there. Granted, I'm sure those questions contributed to me passing the last time.
AUD - 10/21/16 (75----07/2010 expired)
FAR - 10/28/16
BEC - 11/2016
REG - 01/2017Using Gleim CPA Review, Ninja Audio, Ninja Book

Study MonkMemberI have to say I really like CPA Excels read two pages and start going over questions approach. I don't think I will be using Becker's books anymore for my next two exams. I will still use Beckers test bank religiously though.

AnonymousInactiveUnfortunately I have had issues with WTB so far.. since my purchase here, I could access only once and from that date, the CPAExcel people is confused with my account. With the change of website from WTB to CPAExcel, for me is all is a mess.. frustration is high indeed..
