I know that AUD will change from july quarter for 2013. Does the Wiley exam review book 2013 include these changes? If not how can I prepare for the changes? Thank you

I called Wiley and asked that question a few months ago. They physcial textbook does not have the changes but you can get their updates for the changes online. I ended up going with Becker because I really wanted a physical textbook that was completely updated and they were the only ones that I called (at least at that point) that was offering a textbook that included the changes. It's Becker AUD 2013 version B. I think working off a a textbook in one version and trying to decide what is old and adding in updates would waste time (and I have none to spare) and be confusing.

Wiley will probably have whatever changes online. It's pretty easy to update the textbook. They usually have exactly what pages or paragraphs are being replaced or removed. It should be pretty easy and quick to do really. Not very complicated. gl

I picked up the 2013 Wiley textbook in March and it has the updates for exams after 6/30. They created 2 chapters for reporting and made it VERY clear which to use depending on your exam date. In the other chapters they present both info and give directive on what to study based on your test date. Also, the reference materials in the back of the book present both sets of standards. I liked the presentation and didn't find it confusing or disjointed! I used the Wiley textbook+ Ninja notes and audio exclusively for my 4/16 audit retake and have to give credit to both sources in helping me go from a 68 to a 92. Both the Wiley text and the Ninja materials are cost effective too! 😉

Bump. Can I use Wiley 2013 for my upcoming AUD exam? Unfortunately I brought the set of four after grad school and took over a year to start my CPA journey. I work as a financial analyst and not required to have a CPA so I'm footing the bill on my own. Any advice? Btw I used Wiley 2013 and Ninja MCQs for my first two parts. Are the changes for AUD significant?

Clarity standards were introduced and also there were changes in 2015. I would spend the $55 to buy the latest Wiley textbook. If you are that strapped for cash then you can checkout the Wiley textbook from the library.
