Wiley Question –

I previously used Becker, took two tests and did not pass, and I am now looking to start taking the exams again but using CPA Excel. Are the video lectures any good? I don’t want to have to spend the money if they aren’t. Any other suggestions/advise welcomed.

I can only speak on the BEC portion since it's all I took, but not worth it. They literally read right out of the book. I'm retaking the exam in late Feb and not gonna bother watching the lectures; just reading the book, taking notes, listening to the Ninja Audio (didn't have it first time around) and doing the MCQ supplied in CPAExcel.

Yes, it is DRY.

I think that the exercise of reading while listening was/is beneficial. I took AUD last fall and as I am watching the videos, I could remember questions from the actual exam. There were a couple of gaps in my knowledge and the videos seemed to help fill those in.

I doubt I will watch any of them a second time, as now I am focused on the test banks and NINJA materials.

I think that CPAExcel is better than Becker. However I really like Roger Philip, he is very entertaining.
