CPAExcel MCQ method

I have a question for those of you with CPAExcel and that are familiar with the format. For my last two tests (which I passed!) I read all of the material, then go though each module and do the MCQ in study mode, which is kind of cumbersome clicking each module, doing 5, 8, or however many questions, then going to the next module. I mark the ones that I miss / guess at, then go through a second time from the start doing only, the ones that I missed, to see how much I’ve improved (cumbersome again.)

Given the lack of metrics and need to constantly click modules, mark / unmark missed questions, do you think i could be wasting time on doing this when I also have Wiley TB and Ninja MCQ ? Would you even mess around with the CPAExcel MCQ in study mode? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I just do them in exam mode as I go and retake the ones I miss right away till I get them right. During my review I make sure that I have answered all of the questions available. I have found that CPAexcel's questions are more difficult than WTB.

Thanks for the point of view! I like the instant feedback of study mode, so that's my main stumbling block for not using exam mode. Matter of fact, I don't believe that I have ever used exam mode on any of the test banks.

Any other CPAExcel users out there have a method that they can share?

I did the demo for cpaexcel and was not at all impressed. Are there more options once you purchase it? I felt like they give you 2 min of instruction and then ask complex questions that were on different topics. Maybe that was just the demo however. Gotta put ur time in son!

Umm, once you finish the lecture/notes you can click “exam questions” and “study mode” and viola! You're answering the questions in study mode.

If you have ninja bank, I would just answer the CPAExcel as you go, and hit ninja “non stop” for the weeks after you make it through the material.
