Has anyone here used CPAExcel for BEC and had trouble with practice exam Written Communications? I just took a practice test and when I hit exit I got a pop-up error saying simulations couldn’t be graded. Which then caused the program to not give me an overall grade or suggested answers for the WCs.

And I don’t know if this is related, but all my lesson metrics (i.e. lessons complete, hours spent studying, etc.) are all reset to zero now too.

Figured I’d start here and see if anyone else had trouble. Although I’m not sure I really care since I’m switching to Wiley Test Bank now, but figured I’d still ask.

Not sure about BEC's written communication practice test, but when I finished my entire FAR practice exam in CPAExcel, I forgot to hit “continue exam” after the SIMs (I hit “end exam” thinking I would be graded at that point), and the system didn't grade/include my SIMs. I was supposed to hit “continue exam” and then “end exam” apparently!

CPAExcel can be quirky…

Just talked this over with CPAexcel. “I was supposed to hit “continue exam” and then “end exam” apparently!” <– designed to follow what Prometric system does. So yes tricky but intended to train students for exam.
