I just took AUD using CPAexcel + Wiley and I was prepared for the exam MCQ wise.
Sims will be my make or break as i let “Jesus take the wheel” on 3 of the 7 Sims. (it’s a country song)

Has anyone had success with just CPAexcel for REG or was the Wiley TB a must add?
I take REG July 28th and if i get a full-time offer from my internship I will be getting Becker so I don’t want to spend any more $$.

    Thanks!

I've done AUD and REG using only CPAExcel. I've felt pretty prepared for both tests so I would recommend the program. The one thing is that they don't really tell you the material that may be more likely to show up on the test. I spent a decent amount of time studying and was really prepared for BLaw questions, then only got like 5 on my whole test. This site can help with knowing what to expect, though, by reading through the exam experience posts. Good Luck!

@GreatLakeState – BLaw account for 32% of the exam, how is it you only got 5 questions? I hope you meant business formation…

It all depends on the exam you get. There are people who will get the split of questions that's advertised but, more often than not, the REG exam is predominantly tax questions. I got a predominantly tax exam.

    AUD 84
    REG 85
    FAR 84

I use CPAExcel and just began studying for REG and I really think I'm learning a lot. I would suggest you mix Tax with BLaw. For example I started with Property Transactions and then went to Professional Responsibilities; otherwise Tax topics alone make me puke..I'm using the Ninja Notes and Audio as supplements

My exam did not follow the split of the outline, which perplexed me.

I had very few (very few) questions about ethics yet somehow managed to be weaker on them. I wonder if they graded MY test!
