Do you guys think Wiley Test Bank, and reviewing the Wiley Book is enough to pass BEC?

I just want to make sure I cover enough material before the test. It doesn’t seem like “alot” of material compared to FAR.

But…. some of the calculations can get really tricky, and wordy quickly……

And cost accounting (equivalent units) is very confusing…..

I'd say the standard answer applies, “it depends”

How'd you do in the BEC topics in college? I loved econ, my undergrad is in finance, I have an MBA which I think helped with some of the general business type questions. I studied two weeks with the Wiley Test Bank and Ninja Notes only. So for me, Wiley Test Bank was plenty, however, for me that proved to not be the case for Audit. So I think it depends on your background and how comfortable you are with the material; oh and how much time you have.

    Ninja + Wiley Test Bank: [FAR - 81] [REG - 76] [BEC - 88] [AUD - 73](doh!)

Thanks acamp, good reply. Fortunately, I am fairly comfortable with most of the econ and finance(at least what I've seen so far with Wiley, and what I remember from college….) It's the unexpected surprises that make me the most nervous. The ones that may not be covered in the review course.

I see BEC was your strongest section. I can see how the finace/econ/MBA background was a huge help for BEC 🙂

I don't think any review course covers everything possible. I am hoping that the WTB will cover “enough” to pass. I am expecting to miss a few points due to unfamiliar topics. I know I'll see a few things that were not covered in the books/test bank…. 🙂

Wiley test bank and book were enough for me to pass BEC. Like acamp, I love econ and felt pretty comfortable with most BEC topics. I put in a whopping three weeks of study time (about 25 hours/week). If a lot of BEC seems intuitive to you, and you put in the time, Wiley may be enough.

    BEC - 10/01/2013 - 80 - Wiley books and test bank
    AUD - 10/21/2013 - 78 - Wiley books and test bank
    REG - 11/27/2013 - 78 - Wiley books and test bank
FAR - 01/13/2014 - 79 - Wiley books and test bank, Ninja Blitz
