    Wiley Question –

I knew everyone was just dying to know my progress for the day 🙂 This is just me venting. Talking (I mean posting) outloud. I almost feel like I should start with “Dear CPA Diary”.

A slight improvement over my 200 MCQs from yesterday where i got exactly 70%.

Test is at 1pm Wednesday. Hoping that I can do another 300 – 400 tomorrow. The goal is 75% by tomorrow. I get pretty animated when I miss one.

I reviewed the NINJA notes for the first time today and there were a few questions that I nailed because of them. They’re definitely on the list of final objects to look at minutes before I walk into the test center.

Man 400?! You study full time? I can usually only do 200 MCQs a day, that's full time. I have time for more during the day, but my brain literally comes to a halt when I reach #200, so I fill the rest of the time I have left for the day writing notes and what not. You sound like you go this!

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

400 seems like a bit of overload to me. i wouldn't hit 400 golf balls a day, and if i was preparing to run a 5k or 10k, i sure wouldn't practice by running 4 times farther than i need to. i just cant see how the brain would function and process information after all that.

Let's just say I've been in “meetings” all day. I've had a lot of “conference calls” yesterday and will probably have many more today that require me to close my door. 🙂

@jjm I wish I could say I'm in “meetings” and “conference” calls all day LOL try having to log in every minute of your working day..ugh that's what I get for being an auditor! I took yesterday, and today off to study, but wow 400 MCQ's!??! I think I did about 250 yesterday and I just about puked. Good luck! Have you done any of the Becker final tests?

    @jjm

thank you 🙂 I will post thoughts as soon as I'm done

and I dont think 400 is overkill, these questions go by pretty quickly

I think the number of mcqs just depends on the day. Even though you may not be retaining as much on question 300-400. You never know what might stick. I just try to jam in as much as possible.

I've already done 142 questions today and honestly …. I'm not completely toast yet. Ready for a break, yes but not totally fried.

    Good luck everyone!

    FAR- 63, 75
    AUD- 61, 78
    REG- 63, 74, 80
    BEC - 63, 61, 75!!!!! I'm done!!!!

how long does it take for you to do 400 mcq? I'd guess that would take me about at least 6 hours and 20 minutes, at most 10 hours.

it took the course of a day with breaks and occasional work phone calls interrupting me. The AUD questions are much easier to fly through than the FAR or BEC MCQs. The way I answer MCQs, I'm betting I'll have at least 2 hours for the sims so that should be nice.
