    Hi,

I am studying with 2011 yaeger review.

I have reviewd videos and notes more than 3 times but I am still worried.

    I forget a lot as much as I learn…

Then I realized I will never memorize every single detail on the wiley book..

So with 2 months left before the exam, I want to focus on hitting multiple choice questions.

I heard Wiley test bank is good.

However, I wonder if Wilely test bank has questions that are on the wilely review book since I have wiley books and have done multiple choices yaeger assigned,

If anyone knows about this please help me so I don’t waste my money..

I have been studying for REG and FAR for 3 months. I wonder how much do you guys have to study for Aud and BEC

cause I am so exausted.. I hope it does not take as much as Far and REG..

    Thank you

    Yes!

    I highly recommend it.

Pounding on MCQ's is the best way for me to pass on my first try.

Remember the rule of the CPA: Pound on the MCQ's until you puke. Then clean up the puke. Then pound on more MCQ's 🙂

I am only going off of other reviews and recommendations, but it seems like it's worth the money. (In my opinion, almost anything is worth the money if it increases my chances of passing).

I'm waiting for my copy of Wiley test bank too. I expect it tomorrow.

I have read that the test bank has some duplicate questions from the wiley book, but overall, there are enough differences to make it worth it.

Also, I believe that since the actual exam is online, that it's best to do your practice questions online, too, so I would guess the Wiley test bank would be good to use, even if you also have the book.

(I thought Yaeger came with both the wiley books and software too? Maybe I was mistaken.)

    FAR - 86 - 2/27/14
    AUD - 75 - 5/29/14
    BEC - 80 - 8/31/14
    REG - 89 - 2/27/15
    Praise Jesus! I'm done!!

I am losing way how to fight with TBS of REG. I am now studing with book of Wiley but feeling that simulation part is far from actual exam. Regarding TBS, how is Wiley Test Bank? Although I have book version, can you recommend to buy?

There's good news and bad news, so it's hard to say. See below:

Every single review software has errors when first released which is why you'll see them release updates. Wiley has fixed them. If I didn't believe in the product or wouldn't use it myself – I wouldn't sell it.

I have the 2011 test bank and 2012 test bank for wiley and there are more question in the 2012 for each of the areas I have reviewed so far, like for basic concepts, 2011 has 90 questions and 2012 has 112 or so. They are partly similar to book, with 2012 more dissimilar which I like, more info to learn!

I actually review with both because the 2011 tells me in study mode what my percentage right is, while 2012 tells me I have 100% every time even though I don't. I also do gleim test bank which has similar questions but often worded differently which makes me think harder.

    maybe I am overdoing it!

Yes, Wiley has errors. But I know I'm rocking hard on my studying when I'm contacting Wiley CS saying “Hey guys, this question is not correctly written….” 🙂

Yes, they DO fix it, and I wind up passing that section nicely. Found one error on each of the four sections except AUD where I found two. Reported them and all got fixed.

So don't worry, they're on the ball.

Is the test bank good for BEC? I feel I need more questions because I know all the Becker questions by heart now.

    @Jack Don

I use it for the same you reason you were thinking, just a supplement instead of using memorized Becker questions. I haven't looked at the BEC section as of yet (studying for FAR), but I haven't had any complaints thus far for FAR. I plan on using it for all sections, as I feel it has benefited me thus far.

@Jack, the questions in Wiley would give you a different perspective than Becker… if you got extra money I would get it.

    BEC: 66 | 69 | 7/23/2013
    AUD: 8/28/2013

@bobooh15 Thanks for the reply. I do look forward to looking at Wiley questions and pass my final section.

@Roach Would you say the questions are more difficult or less difficult than Becker. I felt Becker helped me with the computational questions but not the other misc. questions.

God I can't wait to finish this thing.

@Jack, I've been studying with Wiley so I'm familiar with their MCQs… Becker's MCQs are just naturally more challenging for me since I'm not familiar with how they word the Qs… its a little different… same with the structure, etc.

If you've been studying with Becker… I think Wiley will definitely give you a different view of the MCQs. It will def. help you with calculation Qs. I heard someone on here say Becker didn't cover the direct/indirect method of allocation on Becker that much and the 2011 Wiley book had 2-3 calculation Q's on those. As far as theory questions… they are somewhat the same with Becker… some hard, some not so hard.

If you're on a budget I would recommend the Wiley 2011 BEC book on amazon. Get it used for less than $20. Can't really say no to less than $20 esp. if its your last section. I don't think much changed from 2011 and 2012 so don't worry about that. I have the 2011 book and the 2012 online testbank. Goodluck man.

    BEC: 66 | 69 | 7/23/2013
    AUD: 8/28/2013
    REG:
    FAR:

Ok, what does bug me about 2012 is in study mode, when it gives you the correct answer, the answer is so big you have to scroll both left / right and up / down to read it. There is no way to resize so you can read the entire thing, it is aggrevating to try and read it by continually scrolling around.
