    Hello,

This is my first time taking exams, I have no accounting or audit experience. I am studying for 2 exams – AUD and BEC. I bought the Wiley CPA exam review books and so far I have read all the modules and completed all the multiple choice questions.

Now to my question, is it worthwhile purchasing the Wiley Online Test Bank as opposed to the one offered by Becker. The Becker Final Review costs a lot more and from what I gather it has lectures and so on but will I be at a disadvantage if I go with Wiley.

Looking forward to some advice. I have just about two months before I take exams

The Wiley Test Bank is MCQ Software … I don't think the Becker Final Review includes any software, but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

I am a big fan of utilizing the full Becker and supplementing with the Wiley Test Bank. I spend the first couple of weeks knocking out the lectures and completing the Becker MCQs several times. When I get to the point that I am starting to memorize the answers in Becker, I revert to Wiley for some fresh questions and it gauges where my weak points are. This is what works for me so it might not be the way you learn best. Overall, the more practice the better so it definetely cannot hurt.

    FAR: 81
    REG: 85
    AUD: 73,71,83
    BEC: 82

    DONE!!!!!!

Becker for AUD is AMAZING, was 100% dead on for me, presented all the material clearly and exactly mirrored what I saw on my actual exam. I'd say there's NO need for supplement there. Not sure on BEC, as I am studying it now, but most seem to think Becker falls short here. But people think most study aids fall short for BEC since its a newer section, so if you can afford it you might want to buy a couple different programs for BEC. Im considering that now :/

    It's comparing apples and oranges.

The Wiley software is great right before the exam, because it can give you random questions when you've studied everything and are no longer sure what you should study.

The Becker MCQs are great because they will ask you the same question 3 or 4 times with a ever-so-slight variation in the question to highlight how an answer would change based on different circumstances.

Both are good, just different. It's well worth paying for either one so that you don't have to repeat the exams over and over, which can be more costly in the long run.

    AUD - 87
    BEC - 76
    FAR - 96
    REG - 94

The Becker Final Review does come with a software and a book. I purchased both REG final review and REG Wiley test bank. If I had to choose between the two, I will choose Wiley Test Bank. I have used Becker as my review materials, so the final review is very similar (a summary) of the book I have already had. Nothing new, and the questions from the software are quiet difficult. If you use Becker for your review, you might want to get Wiley since it covers a little more and deeper. It helps me understand the concepts better especially when I made mistakes. I was running out of time at the end, so I didn't finished either of the them…now I really wish I could have finished Wiley at least. Too many review materials could be a problem too…

Oh my mistake, I misunderstood and thought you were asking about the Becker program in general, not just the final review. I have no experience with the Final Review sorry!
