Hi everyone I am new to the site, but have been reading a lot! I graduated with my BBA in accounting last spring as a returning mid 30’s student and have been approved to take the CPA exam. I have been researching for many hours on the topic of review courses and am really really torn between Yaeger and UWorld Roger CPA Review. I work part-time and take care of our 1.5 year old and my wife works full-time as a CPA. I do know I have to have the videos to watch as I never got to take Gov’t/NFP accounting as it is a MS class. Any comments our stories you may have with either course would be great. I also will buy the ninja notes too.

The benefit of using Roger comes when you are having a hard time understanding a concept. Yaeger goes over questions, so you might get the feeling that the progress is fast, but if you get stuck understanding anything, good luck with Yaeger.

    @ Joe C.
Good choice on Yeager. I had success using their course. The videos are not as glitzy as others- it feels like you are actually in a classroom setting- but you learn what you need and how to pass the exam! For a discount, you might call Yeager directly. If you talk with their sales department (when I took the course it was Sonny) they may be able to find the best discount possible. The instructors are also available by email, or you can schedule a phone call, if you are having a problem with a specific concept. Good luck on your CPA journey!
