I am using CPAExcel to study for reg but the corporate tax is so confusing that I need something else to supplement. Would you recommend UWorld Roger CPA Review or yaeger cram for corporate tax ?

I purchased yaeger reg cram last night but I am so disappointed with the tax handout. There is nothing on it other than the tax forms which I can easily download it myself. The notes for business law is good but I need help for tax not business law. Sigh….I should go with roger

Goldenpeanut, what exactly do you need help with concerning the tax portion? I found that when I did the Yaeger cram, doing MCQs on the tax portion is what helped me the most (and writing down what I got wrong and why). Also, I used the Ninja notes to help drill it into my head (reading and rewriting). I'm curious, what would you have wanted Yaeger to give you in terms of the tax handout?

I don’t think what I said is fair to Yaeger so I should take that back. One of the reasons why I brought yaeger is because of the nice sample handout on business law. The business law handout captures the main points in each module and makes things really easy to understand. I was expecting something similar to that for tax so thats why I said I was disappointed. But I will watch all the videos and work through the problems mentioned on the handout first before making a comment about the product.

In the future, I recommend using google and sites like investopedia to fill in the GAAPs(nerdy accounting joke lol). Unless $300/$400 doesn't phase you; I think your better off spending $90 on wiley multiple choice questions and reading their explanations. Also you can try this

I spoke to an ancient wise man who sent me on a mushroom induced journey through an ancient forest to find the key to passing the CPA exam. A talking spider monkey told me to throw the last of my drinking water in the dirt to find what I was looking for. So I followed his instructions and the following message appeared in the soil:

"Do 5000 multiple choice questions for each section"
