I used Roger's Cram for my third try at REG, second try at FAR, and second try at AUD. He really helped me focus on the important topics and he kept my attention way better than any of the Wiley professors could. I think his AUD Cram is exceptional; he really helped me understand the entire flow of an audit and why we do certain things, so I was able to rationally think through the exam instead of blindly relying on memorization.

I used it for my FAR retake and absolutely loved it. I primarily used Becker and it was able to tie in the key areas that I was missing with Becker. Went from a 59 to a passing 75 in about 5 weeks.

It seems like an upsell to me. Maybe if I'd used it for any of the 3 exams I've taken, I'd have passed, but given my own personal circumstances, I don't think so.

If you are a diligent CPA student, take good notes for yourself, work enough problems….you shouldn't need to pay a few hundred dollars more per section for cram supplements. That's it.
I don't know if Roger (or other vendors offering crams) hold off on valuable information from the regular course but if they do, I'd say that was pretty pathetic. These review courses are expensive enough as it is.

The CRAM is the same thing as the audio for Roger. Skip the CRAM. Purchase the audio and listen to it when you commute, workout, or do anything else when you'd normally listen to music/radio. Then when it's time to CRAM you can use the audio with your normal study book.

@Lucy15 I also got a 59 on my first try at FAR. Hope to follow in your footsteps.

@ssaetern Good luck! It's definitely possible; fingers crossed you get there this time.
