Hi – I purchased UWorld Roger CPA Review for my retake on AUD and have just finished the videos and am now about to make my way through the testbank. It is drastically different from what I have seen with Becker and the Wiley stuff – I don’t see where I can select criteria like New MCQs, Missed MCQs, Flagged MCQs, etc. Are these features not available with the Roger CPA testbank?

The only way I know how to review any of the Flagged MCQs is to go back and “Resume” your quiz section. You'll have to check your answer in order to figure out if you've missed a question.

I'm also studying with Roger and NINJA MCQ and noticed that Roger's test bank is lacking in some of those features you mentioned. As takoyu mentioned the only way to review the flagged MCQs are going back into the quizzes themselves. However, there's always NINJA which does include all those that you mentioned….so just a thought. =)

raymondsfamily, since their mc software is fairly new, it has many glitches. At the end of each chapter, I would do the first 50 MC questions (max you can do), and then when I tried to do the next 50 questions, I would get many repeats. I sent an email regarding this issue,but they say that they are working on making it more user friendly. I think they should have waited until it was almost perfect to launch it. Since they used to work with WTB,I ended up buying WTB, and although there are parts on wiley that Roger has not covered in detail, I was able to get from 75 to 80 per chapter on my first try.

After going over Becker twice, how do you like Roger in comparison? Do you think he teaches a lot beter than Becker? Have you noticed that there are a lot of stuff that Roger does not cover in comparison to Becker? I have Becker, but I'm going over Roger first as I think they are better at teaching Audit.

@BarceFan – I actually was way more engaged with Roger's teaching than Becker's…I am pretty familiar with the mnemonics from Becker and so I can get a feel for what Roger is doing and overall I just like his energy better. For some reason AUD is my nemesis – I have had a close fail followed by a resounding pass on each of the tests so I thought this time I'd change it up. The SIMs were what killed me this time around (I scored overall comparable on the MCQs and weaker in the SIMs).

I do have the Ninja testbank, flashcards, audio (listen to/from work) and notes. I also have the Roger flashcards and still have access to Becker. I just felt that the Roger testbank was serioulsy lacking in the setup and format but it is what it is at the moment. At lease I have until 11/4 to pound out MCQs and SIMs until I puke 😉

raymondsfamily, based on your experience with both, do you think Roger will be enough to pass Audit even though there are some topics that Becker covers and Roger does not include them in their review?

Roger covers everything you need to pass the exam, but the Ninja MCQs are the perfect supplement. I do Roger's questions as I'm going through the lectures. As soon as I finish the last section, it is non-stop Ninja until test-time.

Audit_This, what do you do when you get a lot of questions on ninja that were not covered by Roger? You just write the explanations on your notepad?

actually, I just read the explanation, re-work the problem a few times, and move on.

A bunch of different question over the same topic does more than you think it will for your learning…
