Hi everyone,

I am just really frustrated with UWorld Roger CPA Review CPA review. The Interactive practice questions doesn’t work sometimes, and their site is always having” “maintenance”””… Anybody is experiencing this too? The online lectures won’t even play the whole Vid, it would stop half way through and suddenly ends.

anybody’s experiencing this? I love his video lectures, but the software isn’t what I expected and sometimes I regret choosing it.

Aren't they doing some sort of a maintenance / updates to his website? I haven't taken his course since last Nov but remember seeing his email come across a few days ago or so.

His lectures are great but everything else average at best. Customer service is also non-existent as far as I remember.

They're completely overhauling the test bank software sometime this month apparently, it's supposed to look much nicer and have more features/questions.

Customer service is a joke, you're right! Since My purchase, (two weeks ago) I have never had a day where I didn't have a problem..

Maintenance for 2 weeks? really?

I now finish a section and after doing the small number of MCQ at the end of the book, I go to the IPQ and it's not working

Which test are you studying for? I have only had issues with one AUD video cutting out 2-3 minutes early.

His test bank is worthless, so hopefully the upgrade @xdesix mentioned will actually make it functional. I still think he needs to go back to partnering with someone else for the test bank portion. I'm really curious if switching test banks has negatively impacted his pass rate.

I thought he was great for Audit, and now Im experiencing also how good he is with BEC. He is a brilliant professor,but saves too much money on his test bank. Im sure he has accumulated wealth to have a test bank as good as Ninja. He teaches you the difficult parts of BEC and Audit in a way that you can understand them, and he also keeps you motivated,but his test bank is the worst I have ever come across. His book is decent,but I always take notes based on his lectures.

yep!! you're basically purchasing his vids and books.. I am studying for FAR now. I have wiley test bank (2013/2014) and some of the Roger's test bank questions are the same as Wiley, despite his new changes…

I didn't realize how horrible roger's test bank is until taking BEC this last time. I got a 72 with fairly minimal studying in January. I studied a lot more when I took it on 5/18, but I'm worried that I'll see another fail at 1 am when the scores come out. The questions just don't cut it. My biggest issue with them is how often questions repeat themselves in different sub sections. Essentially ever sub section besides one in the 4th chapter of BEC were the exact same questions in the exact same order. That's useless. I decided to buy Gleim instead. Now I'm studying with Gleim for REG and when I'm done doing the questions I'm going to watch Roger's tax videos before starting a final review. Roger is the best for lectures, but I agree with the point above that his passing rate probably decreased with his new test bank.

With the video issue, I found out that if you refresh the video or go back to your dashboard and go back to the video at the same point you were at before, that will get the sound working again for you

jmshores23, you used his test bank on both tries with BEC? I got 72 on Audit with his test bank and WTB, then I got an 82 with Ninja and the notes i took from Roger's videos.

When I got the 72, I actually mainly relied on the cram. I did some of the IPQ problems but I mainly just did the ones in the book for the cram. I did almost every question this last go around and finished the regular lectures but I still don't feel great about it

They ran into technical issues with it so it got delayed. I asked a week or two back and they said hopefully within a month they should get it rolling.

Based on all the technical issues you guys are having, hopefully you guys are demanding they extend your access pass or provide some adequate consideration for the lost study time. I would be furious if that had happened with Gleim. You guys did pay an arm and a leg for the review course. That lost study time could be a difference between either a passing or failing score.

Hopefully tonight Martin. But, I really can't think too much about it. I have FAR in July, so I have to continue with FAR. I haven't taken a break yet. Had to study right after I took AUD because of he amount of material for FAR. Whatever the results, I can't think about it too much.

Skynet, I wish I had followed your strategy of taking one part after the other regardless of score. You were able to pass 2 parts in one window with 18 months to pass the other 2 parts. Good luck,but worst case scenario will be that you end up passing two parts in one window once again.
