AnonymousInactiveI was wondering for those that have experience using the UWorld Roger CPA Review Cram could tell me if it is worth the purchase. I took REG in September (Hurrican Irene victim) and scored a 73. I will try anything for those 2 extra points so wondering if this will do the trick. Any other suggestions to get me over the hump are much appreciated.

AnonymousInactiveIm using the Roger CRAM for REG right now. It's pretty good, but for me I feel like I just need more practice doing MCQ questions. I get the high level concepts, just need practice applying them. The lectures are definately entertaining, and the cram book is bigger than my wiley book! I felt there was alot of good information, and I actually liked the mneumonics. I used wiley book/test bank the first time around and got a 71, so i felt the roger cram was a pretty good addition, especially since i didnt have any lectures the first time. The price is not too bad either.

WhenindoubtParticipantI used Roger REG Cram too, in addition to Becker, Wiley MCQ and Ninja notes. My main reason for purchasing and using Roger cram was to look at the material from a different perspective than was used/shown with Becker. I feel like it added onto the foundation that was laid with Becker. I think it was worth the money spent.
BEC: 75 11/8/10
AUD: 89 2/22/11
FAR: 78 5/17/11
REG: 72, 83 10/17/11

jomarieParticipantI am thinking of getting the Roger Cram for Audit. When you order it how long till you have access online? And how long till you have the book via UPS? I'm sitting for Audit on Tuesday October 25th.
Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
REG - 75 (Lost Credit) 72, 68, 73, 75 (Passed again in Aug 2011) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
FAR - 65, 68, 75 (Lost Credit) 68, 73, 73, 80 (Passed again in May 2012) Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
BEC - 65, 68, 71, 72, 72, 71, 76 (Lost Credit)- 70, 76!!!! I AM DONE!!! - Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
After 10 long years of studying, I AM DONE!!!! Finally a Licensed CPA in the State of New York!!October 19, 2011 at 1:11 am #530196

AnonymousInactiveI used it for REG and I thought it helped me alot..im a big mnemonic person. I ordered mines online the weekend before my exam. They gave me my password on the phone and I had acces to the videos within minutes…i am also taking his course..so the books usually reach me in 3 days…but im in FL and I think he is CA.

rshafParticipantI would highly recommend Roger's CRAM for REG. He does a really good job with b-law. He explained a number of areas, in a way that made more sense. I went from a 71 in Feb to an 81 in April. I attribute most of that to his CRAM.
Now, any hints on FAR? I got a 73 in May and a 74 in August!! I am taking again in 10 days.
BEC- 76 (08/10)- PASS
AUD- 85 (11/10)- PASS
REG- 71 (02/11), 81 (04/11)- PASS
FAR- 73 (05/11), 74 (08/11), 79 (11/11)- PASSOctober 19, 2011 at 1:28 pm #530202

yankeeaccountantParticipantThanks for the heads up. I think I may include the cram in my final review. I passed FAR in the second window this year. I did it by using the Yaeger cram. I thought Cindy did a great job explaining all the nuances in FAR. I also added the Wiley testbank and used cpareviewforfree, and I also used Becker. I also took notes for the first time and that was a big help. Then closer to test day, I kept a written list of the ten things that weren't clicking. I took notes on each item..and I kept rewriting these notes each day until they were solid in my head. I also thought the Yaeger notes were great..super helpful.Best of luck to you!

AnonymousInactive@yankee… He did a really good job making sense of the BLAW..there is ALOT of info but he has silly ways to look at the terms and remember what they are….i got a 71 my first round but i got stronger in BLAW and overall mcq…i got killed on the sims. Im studying for REG again but i bought the full Roger course this time…just because of the cram. Good luck!!
