ParticipantHi everyone,
I just took BEC last month using only Roger and got a 64 on the exam ( I am bummed but feeling motivated now more than ever). I really felt that Roger's lectures were great but the MCQs were not even slightly reflective of the actual CPA exam. I just purchased Ninja for BEC yesterday and wanted to know your recommendations of how you studied. Just cramming as much MCQ as possible? Reading the book and notes? What about practice simulations?Thank you!
Using Roger + NinjaBEC-64 only with Roger

ParticipantBEC is a challenge. A mile wide and an inch deep. I studied the longest for that exam and felt lucky to pass. I would have hated a retake. Ninja mcq’s were my main tool. COSO is a big component so don’t gloss over it. Variances are essential. You just have to dig in and be ready for any of it on exam day. Study seriously, take good notes and redo equations in all mcq’s. You can do this! Good luck!🍀

ParticipantThank you so much! I went into the exam so prepared for COSO/ERM questions but to my surprise my test had so much Econ-something I glanced over. I have a wonderful feeling about Ninja. Most importantly I haven't lost hope

ParticipantKeep reminding yourself you can do this. These exams manage to cover at least a little bit of everything so prepare for anything. You sound so positive and I love that. It starts with your belief in yourself, your desire to get it done, and you succeed by studying to build your confidence and by being prepared. These are not easy tests but you can pass! Stay positive! Keep your eye on the prize and knock it out! Good luck! We’re here when you need us!
