I have been watching some of the UWorld Roger CPA Review lectures and trying to highlight materials as I go along. I am having. A difficult time knowing what page he is referring to during the lectures. Also, the online book accompanying the lecture does not correspond to the lesson when you open it. Does anyone else have this issue. Am I doing something wrong?

I gave up on the online book, it is too difficult to navigate. I tried to take notes and did my best to follow along in the book. Most of the chapters I watched his lecture then went through the chapter and took notes. I don't get much from highlighting so I didn't do a lot of that. I'm writing and rewriting my notes. Some of the concepts I had to watch the video of the class example multiple times.

I'm trying the NINJA method. So lots of notes during my first pass through the material. Then second pass, I'm rewriting my notes and I'm also doing all the questions in Roger's book including the simulations. I've been doing some online testbank questions over the subjects I've covered. Anything that I haven't understood while rewriting my notes, I rewatched the lecture on. I feel like this is working out. A lot of the stuff builds on other topics, so having a first pass to get some of the concepts and then a second pass to really cement it in your brain, then mcq's until you can't take it anymore.

Anyway, good luck! There aren't many Roger students on here… Everyone is taking Becker and refering to F whatever…

Hiya, I use Roger CPA and I have done AUD and BEC with him. I didn't have trouble keeping up with him.

True the PDF side of the screen doesn't move with his lecture so personally I make his actual video Wide Screen and use the book.

I also have a note book in which as he teaches i do my own scrap notes of what he has on the board. Once i am done with that section of the Audio Lecture. I read the book then and it help re-enforce what he just taught. I then make my own little flash cards with the memonic's and pointers for the exam.
