    NINJA Question –

The AICPA has BEC split into 6 sections:

    Corporate Governance (16-20%)

    Economic Concepts & Analysis (16-20%)

    Financial Management ( 19-23%)

    IT (15-19%)

    Strategic Planning (10-14%)

    Operations Management (12-16%)

In the NINJA Framework – there are 9 sections:

    Economics (16-20%)

    IT(15-19%)

    Cost Accounting ?

    Capital Budgeting ?

    Financial Management (19-23%)

    Corporate Governance (16-20%)

    Performance Measures ?

    Risk Management ?

    Financial Planning & Analysis ?

Some are an obvious match, but can anyone help to fill in the blanks?? Trying to determine weight of each section per NINJA.

Are you talking about NINJA Notes Framework, right?

NINJA MCQs and BEC-Book are laid out almost the same way AICPA splits the six (6) BEC sections.

I compared it with my Becker book and so here's the flow of the outline I came up with:

    BEC Outline Titles:

Corporate Governance, Responsibility Accounting, & Internal Auditing Stds.
    B1 – S1 Corporate Governance
    B2 – S6 Responsibility Accounting
    B6 – S7 Internal Auditing Standards

    Operations Mgt.
B1 – S2 Operations Mgt. – Performance Mgt. & Impact of Measures on Behavior
    B1 – S3 Operations Mgt. – Cost Measurement Methods & Techniques
    B6 – S1 Operations Mgt. – Process Management
    B6 – S2 Operations Mgt. – Project Management

    Strategic Planning
    B2 – S1 Profitability & Pricing Analysis
    B2 – S2 Marginal Analysis
    B2 – S3 Forecasting & Projection
    B2 – S4 Budgeting
    B2 – S5 Variance Analysis

    Financial Management
    B3 – S1 Capital Budgeting
    B3 – S2 Leverage
B3 – S3 Weighted Average Cost of Capital & Optimal Capital Structure
    B3 – S4 Asset Effectiveness & Efficiency
    B3 – S5 Working Capital Mgt
    B3 – S6 Appendix: Summary of Formulate & Ratios
    B6 – S4 Financial Risk Mgt
    B6 – S5 Financial Decisions

    B4 – S1 Organizational Needs Assessment
    B4 – S2 Systems Design & Other Elements
    B4 – S3 Security

I don't think I was able to answer your question with my post above. But I just don't see the point of weighing each section of the NINJA Notes when NINJA MCQs clearly lays out the category description and spreads the questions well. Though NM has the least questions for COSO out of the six sections. I wish I could see more COSO questions than that.
To me, it's best to utilize NN by studying it along with the audio and writing the key notes.
