Trending score – Based on your most recent MCQ sets.
Average score – Based on your total MCQs completed.

Once you get through the assessment phase, your trending score will be a pretty accurate indicator of what you would get on the exam.

Trying not to hijack, but how does one get out of the assessment phase? And why does my dashboard say 30 something percent when I am trending and averaging well above that?

You get out of the assessment phase by attempting each question at least once.

    FAR- 74, 78 (10/15)
    BEC- 73
    REG- 65, 88 (05/16)
    AUD- 7/16

I thought to get out of assessment phase you had to go through 35% of the questions. At least that's what it says if you hover about the progress bar.

@MaLoTu are you going through section by section or random sets?

I am doing FAR and I think there are 5 sections, I am not comfortable with the way the NINJA MCQs are organized. I have been doing 3 categories: gov, NFP, and standards. I have not made it through Becker yet so I didn't want to do the other two sections even though I have gone through most Becker and should know a lot. I wish the questions were categorized more like Becker because it feels like I might as well be doing random sets with the broad grouping.

I THINK the way the trending score works is it looks at all sections, not just the ones you've done questions for, and calculates an overall trending score on that. So if you have sections where you haven't answered anything yet, that would bring your overall trending down. But I think if you go to your progress report it will show you the trending score for each section.

Thanks, allaboard … that sounds likely!

I agree with allaboard. If there are sections where you haven't done any questions, your trending for that section is 0% and you will have a lower overall trending score. The MCQ's are organized according to the CSO and I'm pretty sure the Ninja books are laid out to align with it.

    FAR: 75 Roger & Ninja (notes/flashcards/audio/MCQ)
    AUD: 73, 81
    BEC: 71, retake 8/29
