    NINJA Question –

I am pursuing FAR. I have gone through Becker and now I am looking into NINJA for some more reinforcement. I failed once with a 70. Has anyone gone through all of the MCQ with NINJA and if so, did the adaptive learning technology really exploit your weak areas and force you to work more of those? That is ultimately what I need, but I’d like a little feedback before I purchase.

    Thanks

    I think it's dabomb.com 🙂

I think the questions are harder which is good. It shows your weaker areas so you can keep on testing until you have no weak areas.

    FAR- 5/11/15 76!!
    AUD-10/31/15 63, 84!
    REG-7/12/16 72
    BEC-8/31/15 75!! Perfect Score!

I really like Ninja MCQ. I mainly use Gleim but I firmly believe that Ninja MCQ pushed my learning over the edge. I just started using it when I took BEC and am currently using it for my AUD re-take and when I take REG. The adaptive learning is really helpful for those weak areas. It is a great purchase for $47! There is usually a coupon code as well to get 15% off – hiya or hiya2 has worked for me in the past that makes it even more affordable. It is worth it!

    FAR - 73, 78! (1/5/15)
    AUD - 73, 83!!! (7/1/15)
    BEC - 85!! (5/19/15)
    REG - 65, 80!!!! (11/16/15)

St. Jude, St. Joseph of Cupertino, & St. Matthew - thank you!!!

@keith I'm taking AUD mid July. How are you incorporating the Ninja MCQ? I have the 10 pt combo…gave up on Wiley. I learn mostly from doing tons of mcq and filling in notes on the Ninja Notes. Ninja Audio to and from work. I use the book if I need detailed explanations, but I don't anticipate reading all of it.

I found it to be overall a good question bank and you can't beat the price; just be aware that it takes a LONG TIME to get through the adaptive phase. I had 1,500 questions answered and was not even halfway through the adaptive phase, so this is not a last-minute cram purchase.

I also googled coupon codes and saved a few extra bucks.

I am in the adaptive phase…finally so does this mean I will get questions on the weak areas or questions I didn't get correct. The purpose of adaptive again?

Ninja MCQ is a perfect supplement to Becker. I used Becker (exclusively) for my first shot at FAR and while I did not study near enough (life) I scored a 73. I then went on and took AUD and returned to FAR afterwards. For my 2nd attempt at FAR I went through all of the Becker MCQs and then solely studied the Ninja MCQ focusing on learning from the questions and practicing J/Es and made sure to work each question in Ninja at least once. That strategy increased my score 20 points. Good luck.

NINJA MCQ's and Becker questions are similar. NINJA is a little shorter in length and toss out some of the distractors that Becker includes. The adaptive part seems to focus and pick up on the questions missed. If you do all of the questions correctly at least one time, then you get to the review stage.

My advice is to do as many MCQ's as possible. Use NINJA when you get tired of Becker. Then use Becker when you get tired of NINJA. I did all the MCQ's in Becker at least once and then used NINJA to supplement the weak areas.

In the end, the additional $47 spend for NINJA is worth it.

    AUD - 90
    FAR - 71, 76
    REG - 75
    BEC - 76 (bubble sucks)

In case it hasn't been answered – The purpose of the adaptive phase is to hit you on your weak areas. While the test bank will pick out those questions for you, there's a way that you can see what your weak areas are. I can't remember how though…. You'll hit the review phase once you've answered every question correctly.

“Is it worth it?” In short – yes!! I bought it for my second go around with FAR (missed it by 3 points the first time) and got through the entire test bank and into the review phase (minus most of the SIMs). The adaptive phase was what did it for me I think – I knew what my weak areas were in general, but the test bank dialed it down into specific CSOs.

And at $47, I think it's definitely worth a shot at it. 🙂

If you hit “trouble questions” it gives you questions you did worse on
