I have been using the ninja notes for bec and they are helping me understand topics in Becker and helping them to stick. Question, though, would you concentrate a lot on topics that are not discussed in the notes? I’m reading through economics right now and there is no mention of supply chain management or value chain analysis in the notes but I’m reading it in Becker thinking I seriously doubt this will show up on the bec exam (given my experience with these tests and knowing how much material is NOT covered on the exam). I’m not saying I’m going to be skipping topics not included in the notes because I will read them in the Becker chapter but should I be worried if they aren’t sticking? Or in your experience should I mainly be concentrating on topics emphasized in the notes? I’m just trying to use the most effective study method possible.

I failed AUD using Kaplan then purchased the Ninja Notes and the Wiley Test Bank. I did the same as you and read all the chapters in Kaplan, but I am now focusing mainly on the Ninja Notes topics because they seem to cover nearly everything I encountered on the exam I failed. I don't know about the Ninja Notes for BEC, but I don't even recall the two topics you mentioned being in the Kaplan study materials so I can't say that I studied them at all and I passed BEC on the first try.

I think over all NINJA is a good representation of what you can expect on exam day. However if it's in your study material don't be shocked if you see it on exam day. All the time people say i saw 5 questions on xyz topic and it was only 2 lines in abc study material. Its all fair game.

This is my 2nd attempt at the exam, I had two parts passed (failed many) and I stupidly quit, big mistake. Now I'm back and with a vengeance!

Like everyone is saying, if it is in your main study material, it could be tested.

Ninja notes is meant as supplemental only. It's great to drive in the major points and as an overall look at materials. So, yes, you should know the topics in the ninja notes, but I would also be familiar with topics ninja notes do not cover.

Not every single detail you study will ‘stick' unless you are some super genius. No one can tell you that you don't need to study these things though. I would suggest that you know the topics covered in videos, and in the ninja notes, and then go over the rest. Hopefully it ‘sticks' and you will be able to recall it on test day.
