    NINJA Question –

So, Jeff explains that the information in the book is the bare essentials and cuts out the nonsense. However, when reading the book I notice that the topic is not really explained (or maybe that I’m comparing it to my Wiley) but rather given an example of the topic in the form of a MCQ and then moves on to the next topic. I think the Wiley book goes more into the extremely wordy explanation of the topic, but the NINJA book doesn’t explain enough. I view FAR as more working knowledge of the material. Whereas REG was a more definition/concept based. How do you all study the FAR book?

Also, has anyone passed by JUST doing the FAR MCQ's? I know repetition is key with FAR.

    Thanks again.

I hear you … It's definitely a balancing act. Even trimmed down, it's 630+ pages of material to get through.

Too wordy and people's will glaze over and won't read it…too straight to the point and people will feel like it wasn't thorough enough.

The book (and any video course, really) covers as much as possible, but the MCQ are still a key component of learning the concepts.

Thanks Jeff. I am tryign to follow your NINJA method and rewrite all of the NINJA notes. I tend to write too many notes on my own. Anyone else have any suggestions or “been there, done that” examples of how you studied for FAR using NINJA notes?
