NINJA Question –

My first attempt at FAR is in 34 days. I currently have the NINJA Notes, Audio, Book, and MCQ.

The past couple days, to sort of “ease in”, I’ve been listening to NINJA Audio during my commute and while at the gym, and have also been reading the book during breaks at work. I started to rewrite the notes tonight… but I just hit a wall. Feeling like this isn’t the best use of my time right now and I need to just jump into MCQs.

Looking for any kind of guidance on where you would start to be most efficient/effective for FAR?

Should I read a chapter, then do the MCQ?
Rewrite the notes, read a chapter, then do MCQ for that chapter? ETC?

If you are already listening to the audio, then I would just do the MCQs. Practice journal entries while doing MCQs and that would prepare you for SIMS too. You could read a book for the part you are having hard time understanding.

Study Governmental accounting, it's boring, dry, makes little sense, and they seem to test the smallest nuances requiring you to know more than any person should regarding the subject matter….

Start pounding MCQs. Id start with Govt NFP/SHE, Leases Bonds, Pensions, and working capital. These are usually the most tested items

@Ginja_CPA – I thought of that too.. however given FAR is usually considered the beast of them all I am not sure that what I did with AUD & BEC would cut it.

Thanks @jcman240 & Wanna B TX – that helps start me in the right direction. I'll start tackling those areas and mix in others as I go.

With REG, I started in order of the NINJA sections in MCQs… so I by the time I got to the real meat of material (BLAW & Tax), I hadn't felt like I even made a dent and it was overwhelming. Still praying for a passing score come Nov 22!
